Review scope

What the review looks for

Submitted manuscript text and any optional notes or reference material are checked for canon facts, character and location details, chronology, potential contradictions, and unresolved threads.

Proposed findings include a source excerpt and its location in the manuscript or notes, so you can review the evidence. The process does not promise to surface every continuity issue.

Continuity findings in the review

Proposed findings cover characters, locations, timeline events, canon facts, and unresolved threads. Each includes its source excerpt and location for your review.

Markdown Story Bible

The downloadable Story Bible contains approved findings only; proposed or dismissed findings are not included.

Contradiction report

This downloadable report compares approved canon facts and timeline events only. If fewer than two such findings are approved, it reports that there is insufficient material to assess contradictions.

Draft client questions

The app can draft questions for eligible unresolved threads or conflicts. These appear in the app and are not a separate download.

Preparation and limits

Before you submit

  • Upload files as PDF, DOCX, or TXT. Each file can be up to 50 MiB.
  • PDFs need readable text. Scanned or image-only PDFs are not supported because this review does not include OCR.
  • Text extraction is capped at 500,000 combined characters across the manuscript and notes.
